Exercise Psychology Lab research focuses on psychological responses to physical activity and psychological factors associated with physical activity participation and dropout. Emphasis is placed on the following:
- The relationship between the intensity of physical activity and affective responses (pleasure-displeasure)
- The individual difference and biological factors that influence this relationship
- The implications of affective responses for long-term adherence
