I was responsible for...
I got the opportunity to work one-on-one with employees out at the National Center for Animal Health for the USDA and help them reach their fitness goals. I held the chance to give fitness center tours and help employees to gain access to the fitness center. Ever so often I would hold lunch-and-learns and talk in front of employees and also lead group fitness sessions in the afternoons. I was also in charge in helping out with the annual health fair and getting businesses to come out and attend. There were also monthly meetings that I would sit in on and give updates on how the fitness center was running (whether it needed more equipment, something broke, or just how my clients were doing) and just new ideas for either new events I would want to hold or just new ideas in general.

I accomplished...
I would say that the greatest accomplishment I achieved throughout this experience was getting my client, who had joint issues and hadn't worked out in a long time, capable of running a mile, because that had been a goal of hers for the longest time.

I learned...
To be confident and really trust in what you learned in class.
