Department of Kinesiology

Welcome!  We are glad you are checking us out!  Approximately 50% of all new students to our department are transfer students, just like you.  Over 75% of transfer students come from Community Colleges; other students transfer in from various four-year programs throughout the state of Iowa (90% of you are Iowa residents) and the country.

The Department of Kinesiology has just ONE major, but many career options within this major  These specialized career options have been developed to suit a number of different career interests and professional pursuits.  Here are the different career options we offer:
