Exercise Psychology Laboratory

Our research focuses on psychological responses to physical activity and psychological factors associated with physical activity participation and dropout. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between the intensity of physical activity and affective responses (pleasure-displeasure), the individual difference and biological factors that influence this relationship, and the implications of affective responses for long-term adherence.
