Dance MinorIowa State Dance offers dancers a unique opportunity to discover, develop, and display their dance talents. Iowa State Dance operates with an open door policy allowing all students to participate in the art of dance, as well as create a diverse and eclectic population of dancers, allowing them to develop skills useful in their careers and life situations. Dance opportunities include participation in an academic or extracurricular setting. The 19 credits required of the dance minor are completed by taking 15 credits of required and 4 credits of supportive courses. Required courses
Supportive coursesSupportive courses consist of four additional credits selected from dance courses numbered 200 or above.
RecommendedParticipation in Orchesis I, II and/or Iowa State Dance Tour Company is recommended. Check out the dance groups page for more information. |
